We’re trust by some of the biggest brands in media and tech, and we’re growing fast, with a strong foundation in both product and revenue.

We’re hiring our first Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO on finance, operations, and company strategy. This is a key hire that will help build the internal systems, financial infrastructure, and operating cadence that supports AudioShake as we scale.

ABOUT AUDIOSHAKE

AudioShake makes sound usable for both humans and machines. Our proprietary AI separates audio into its component parts, powering workflows in media, entertainment, and AI. We’re trusted by the world’s largest media companies, sports organizations, and AI companies.

We’re growing quickly and now looking for a Head of Business Development to shape and scale our next phase of growth.

ROLE OVERVIEW

AudioShake is building a new category at the intersection of AI and sound. Many of our offerings are first-of-a-kind, which means our BD leader must thrive in ambiguity—negotiating novel deal structures, defining pricing where none exists, and building a repeatable playbook that scales.

The Director of BD will own high-value, complex partnerships—from large-scale contracts with media and AI companies, to multi-year integrations with hardware and workflow partners. Success requires a blend of deal-making skill (to close transformative contracts) and strategic vision (to cultivate trust and steward long-cycle relationships).

You’ll work closely with our CEO and GTM team to expand our footprint across AI, media, SaaS, and emerging audio markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First-of-a-Kind Deal-Making: Negotiate and structure novel partnerships where pricing, usage models, and contract structures are not yet defined.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline across Tech, AI, media, and hardware verticals.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships at target companies with product teams, researchers and executives, from first meeting through multi-year growth.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Legal to design and execute complex agreements (SDK integrations, on-prem deployments, data-sharing).
  • Category Creation: Translate early deals into scalable playbooks and pricing models that become the foundation for AudioShake’s GTM motion.
  • Market Development: Identify and validate new verticals where AudioShake can become core infrastructure.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent AudioShake at industry events, panels, and partner forums, strengthening our reputation as the leader in audio separation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Business Development, Partnerships, or Product/Distribution Partnerships, ideally in SaaS, AI, or media tech.
  • Deal-Making: Proven track record of negotiating and closing high value or first-of-a-kind deals where pricing and terms had to be created from scratch.
  • Strategic Acumen: Ability to balance short-term revenue wins with long-term integrations that shape new markets.
  • Relationship Builder: Skilled at building credibility and trust with both C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Operator: Experience collaborating with product, engineering, research, and legal teams on data agreements or technical partnerships.
  • Versatility: Equally comfortable driving fast-moving contracts and stewarding year-long hardware or workflow partnerships.
  • Audio/Media Background: Not required, but a strong plus.

BENEFITS

  • Competitive pay and equity
  • Medical, dental and vision benefits
  • 401(k)
