Sync deal for "Amsterdam"
The sync opportunity was a trailer for the star-studded, David Russell film “Amsterdam.” The song, “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” by Santa Esmeralda, was a perfect backdrop to the fast-paced, action-filled comedy. However, as the song was produced in the 1970’s, the publishing group Wise Music Creative was faced with an all too frequent challenge for music supervision: they didn’t have access to the original project files. Without stems and instrumentals, it’d be impossible to edit the dialogue of the trailer over the vocals of the master track.
Fortunately, AudioShake’s AI was able to cleanly separate the master track into its stems and provide a high-quality instrumental. Wise Music Creative was able to close the deal and provide stems for the sound editors to use in the final trailer.
