Algoriddim debuts AudioShake’s real-time stem separation on djay Pro: the #1 software for performing DJs
There is nothing quite like a great DJ set. Watching someone weave two records together and fuse them naturally right in front of the crowd can seem like wizardry to some. Behind this magic are stems. Stems allow for crucial control of instruments like drums and vocals, allowing them to move in and out. And now DJs can tap into AudioShake stems to open up their music.
Today, Algoriddim launched the next generation of their award-winning DJ software, djay Pro, now enhanced with AudioShake’s stem separation technology. Over a year of collaboration went into adding AudioShake to Algoriddim’s Neural Mix technology, which can isolate instruments and vocals in real time. The result brings industry-leading stems directly to the fingertips of DJs, and sets a new standard for both sound quality and performance for real-time music source separation.
“Fitting large AI models onto devices, in real-time, without a loss in quality, is a big technical challenge – one made particularly difficult with audio, where the sound needs to be separated in high resolution. We’re thrilled to partner with Algoriddim to bring our industry-leading stem separation technology to the rich functionality of the djay platform.” – Jessica Powell, CEO of AudioShake.
AudioShake introduces an unprecedented level of clarity for separations with Neural Mix, creating crisp vocals, perfectly separated instruments, and snappy drums. Thanks to the strength of Neural Mix and Algoriddim’s platform, this is the first time our stems are available in real-time and on mobile and desktop devices, marking a significant breakthrough in performance.
“Collaborating with AudioShake has been an absolute pleasure. Combining our unique expertise enabled us to develop exclusive new DJ technologies and elevate Neural Mix to an unprecedented level of quality and performance.” – Karim Morsy, CEO of Algoriddim
Users can now download djay Pro 5.0 by Algoriddim via the App Store.
