Working with AudioShake

Switched on Pop regularly features stems and instrumentals in the podcast to analyze what a particular instrument or musician is doing in a given moment.

Given the nature of the podcast, artists and their labels are usually able to provide their stems to the show. However, occasionally stems aren’t available–as was the case with an episode about JP Saxe’s “If The World Was Ending" – so Switched on Pop used AudioShake to create them. Listen to the episode here.

"AudioShake does the unthinkable, pulling a song apart into its stems in seconds. It has been a lifesaver for the show, and has allowed us to go deeper in our conversations with artists, really highlighting certain aspects of a song.
